National Conference Applications

Mark your calendars! January 16 to 18th, Montreal will play host to the Engineers Without Borders 2015 National Conference, Canada’s largest and most exciting development conference! The EWB national conference brings together EWBers, professionals and partners from all across Canada to learn, build connections and work to build our programs for the future. Make this event the highlight of your year and apply today!

Please note, that you do not have to be on the executive to apply, but there is an expectation to give back to the chapter upon return! It is a great experience for new leaders to grow, find your place in EWB and get motivated!

Cost Breakdown:

Registration: 250$ (subsidized price), 900$ (general price)
Hotel: 170$
Flights: 350 – 575$
Leadership Day: 100$ (including hotel for that night)

EWB MUN will cover the registration and hotel costs for 8 delegates (including JF), however members are responsible for covering flights and the optional leadership day. If you are not selected, you are more than welcome to pay the general price and join the delegation!

Global Engineering Certificate Information Session

EWB MUN is excited to announce that MUN is the first university in Canada to offer the Global Engineering Certificate!

The Global Engineering Certificate is part of EWB Canada’s Global Engineering Curriculum venture. The certificate recognizes the development of an awareness of globalization and its impact on engineering practice, capability of practicing leadership and interdisciplinary skills, competency in exploring complex societal issues and an ability to apply technical skills in a global context.

There is no cost or time limit to complete this certificate and Engineers Without Borders Canada has staff to support students throughout the process.

On Wednesday, October 22nd, EWB will hold an information session about the new Global Engineering Certificate EWB is offering in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering! It will take place in EN 2040 from 1-2pm. All faculty and students are invited to attend! If you are unable to attend but are interested in finding out more, please email
